Pauline (nee Libersky) Volney

ST. ANSGAR,IOWA Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Volney, 61, who died Thursday after a long illness. Were here Saturday.

Born in New York City, she came to St. Ansgar with her parents when 5 years old. She spent her entire life here with the exception of a few years in Oregon.

She was married to Louis Volney on May 31, 1904 and established their home on a farm east of St. Ansgar. They lived there until his death in August 1942. She then moved to St. Ansgar.

She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Herbert Hovelson, New Hartford, and Zita Volney, St. Ansgar; four brothers, Joe Libersky, Lyle, Minnesota, Frank, Charles and John Libersky, and one sister, Mrs. Carl Nelson, all of St. Ansgar; also two grandchildren.
