EDWARD SEVERSON

RICEVILLE, IOWA -- Edward Severson, 82, died Sunday night, Dec. 6, 1964, at the Riceville Hospital after a long illness. Born Dec. 7, 1881, at Blanchardsville, Wisconsin, he was the son of Sever and Rachel Severson.

Surviving are his wife, Emma; four sons, Willard, Riceville; Milford, Lawler; Erling, Lynwood, Calif.; Luther, Tacoma, Wash.; five sisters, Mrs. Casper Peterson, Mrs. Chris Wahl, Mrs. Tillie Burreson, Mrs. Tina Bendickson, Mrs. Sophia Bonaunet, and a brother, Ben, all of Wisconsin; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, two daughters, a grandchild and five brothers.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the First Congregational Church here. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery with Chisholm Funeral Home in charge.
