Probable Suicide
The body of Rudolf Pribvansky with a self inflicted gunshot wound in the head was found last Wednesday evening by [ illegible ] workmen on their return from the fields on the Frank Sedlacek farm north of St. Ansgar.
Mr. Pribvansky was a Bohemian who came here several years ago to work for Mr. Sedlacek. He had always been a good industrious workman and no explanation has been found for the tragedy.
Mr. Pribvansky’s brother, Irving in Omaha, was notified at once but he wired that he was unable to come. He arrived, however, on Friday, too late for the funeral.
Mr. Sedlacek took the funeral arrangements in hand and services were held at the town cemetery on Thursday afternoon at 4 o’clock. Reverend M. E. Waldeland conducting the service.
The deceased was born in Austria on September 26, 1877. He is survived by his brother and an older brother and the brother already mentioned, besides two nieces living in Omaha. His mother was named as the beneficiary of $1500 insurance which he carried.
