Bradford G. Larson

AUSTIN, MINNESOTA -- Bradford G. Larson, 85, of 905 12th Ave. N.W., Austin, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 1997, at Burr Oak Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Feb. 8th, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with the Rev. James I. Mikkelson officiating. The Organist was Neal Erickson; the soloist was Mark Robert. Honorary bearers included: Eric Swenson, Lars Swenson, Cynthia Bellefeuille, Valerie Larson, Chadd Larson, Elizabeth Larson, Katherine Larson and Rebecca Larson. Casket bearers were: Gary Callahan, Larry Callahan, Darrell Larson, Daryl Stelter, Dennis Stelter and Michael Bellefeuille.

Interment was in the Oakwood Cemetery.

Bradford G. Larson was born Jan. 25, 1912, in Mona, Iowa, to John and Mary (Bothun) Larson. He graduated from Otranto, Iowa, High School in 1931. Bradford married Lucille Stelter on Jan. 8, 1939, at the bride's home in Otranto. They moved to Stacyville, Iowa, and later to Rose Creek, where they farmed. They moved to Austin in 1945 where he worked for USEM's and later for Tempo Department Store. He retired in the early 1970s.

He was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille Larson of Austin; sons and daughters- in-law, Glen and Sharon Larson of Bloomington, and Darwin and Pamela Larson of Norwalk, Iowa; eight grandchildren; son-in-law and his wife, Jerry and Maggie Sprick of Red Wing; brother and sister-in-law, Myrle and Leona Larson of Austin; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Bernice and Johnny Callahan of Austin, and Gala Stelter of Clear Lake, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, LaVonne Sprick; and an infant son.

The Clasen-Jordan Mortuary in Austin, was in charge of arrangements.
