Funeral services for Mrs. Ole (Signe) Lillegaard, 93, of Lyle, who died at St. Mark’s Home in Austin March 17, were held March 19 at Six Mile Grove Lutheran church with the Rev. Gaylord Grant officiating.

Signe Stoe Lillegaard, the daughter of Olaf and Margit (Odden) Stoe, was born August 7, 1883 in Nevada township near Lyle. She was baptized and confirmed at Six Mile Grove Lutheran Church where she was a member and also the ALCW and the circle.

December 5, 1899 she married Ole Lillegaard in Lyle with the Rev. J. Muller Eggen officiating.

Mrs. Lillegaard is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Russell (Mabel) Osmonson of Albert Lea; one son, Jay Lillegaard of Lyle; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Iona Lillegaard of Austin; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren; also three half-sisters in Fargo, N.D.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ole, and one son, Orlanzo and one sister, Mrs. Melvin Christenson; also three half-sisters and one half-brother.

Burial was in the Six Mile Grove cemetery with Rev. Grant in charge of the committal services.
