ST. ANSGAR, IOWA — Word was received of the death of Andrew Moe of Seattle, Washington. Mr. Moe resided here a number of years ago and is a brother of Martin and Sam 0. Moe; Mrs. William Lange; Mrs. Ole Thorson and Miss Anna Moe.

Burial will be made at Seattle.

Andrew Thomas Moe was born February 1865 in Dodgeville, Iowa County, Wisconsin, the son of Lars Moe and Caroline (Anderson) Moe. Andrew died March 11, 1937 in Seattle, King County, Washington
He married Emma Elizabeth Medin, the daughter of Malcom Medin and Augusta Lovestrum. She was born October 10, 1872 in Saint Ansgar, Mitchell County, Iowa and died January 28, 1924 in Lake County, Illinois

Three daughters were born to this union;

(a) Florence Edith Moe born April 12, 1892 in Mitchell County, Iowa (Iowa Birth and Christening Records). She married Leon Frank Brooks. Florence died December 26, 1954 in Seattle, Washington (Washington death record; father Andrew T Moe; mother Elizabeth Medin)

(b) Esther Augusta Moe born October 8, 1893 in Mitchell County, Iowa (Iowa Birth and Christening Records). Esther married Edward Olson on February 14, 1920 in Seattle, Washingon, witnesses: Oscar Olson and Mrs. L. F. Brooks
