Former Physician of Osage Is Dead

OSAGE, IOWA — Dr. Glen Sheldon formerly of Osage, died at the Vineyard hospital he operated at Kansas City, Missouri, Sunday, having suffered a stroke last April.

Funeral rites are pending. His two sisters, Mrs. Will Kane, Osage, and Mrs. Maude Nelson, Dallas, Tex., were to arrive in Kansas City Monday.

Dr. Sheldon was born to John C. and Margaret Sheldon east of Osage. He graduated from Osage High School and from Rush Medical College, Chicago, Illinois. and practiced in Colorado, going then to Kansas City where he established his own hospital.

Survivors include his widow Grace; a son, Dr. John Sheldon, and granddaughter, all of Kansas City; one brother, Fred C. Sheldon who has been in Kansas City for some time; and the two sisters.
