Succumbs in Osage

OSAGE, IOWA — Mrs. J. A. Bert Rogers, 81, died late Sunday at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital. Funeral arrangements are being made at Champion Funeral Home. Services will be at Sacred Heart Church.

Born Minnie Schmidt at Mitchell, she was a lifetime resident of Mitchell County. She had lived in Osage for 16 years. Her husband was killed in an auto accident in 1957.

Surviving are two sons, John and Bernard, both Osage; three daughters, Mrs. H.G. Schultheis, Osage; Mrs. Robert Kleckner, St. Ansgar; Mrs. Louis Howe, Butte, Montana; 26 grandchildren, 27 great–grandchildren, two sisters, Miss Helen Schmidt and Mrs. Herbert Johnson, both of Osage.
