Mrs. Chelsie C. Bartell
Mrs. Chelsie C. Bartell, 68, died of a heart ailment at her home in Waterloo on Monday afternoon at 6:45 P.M. She had been ill for the past several years.
Born January 19, 1877 at St. Ansgar, daughter of P. I. and Julia Kinneberg, she was reared here and was married on May 18, 1902 to Chelsie C. Bartell. They moved to Waterloo on July 1, 1902 and that city has since been their home.
Mrs. Bartell was originally a member of the Lutheran Church at St. Ansgar, and more recently had joined Westminster Presbyterian Church in Waterloo.
Surviving are her husband; three sons: William at home, I. C., Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Kenneth B., Cresco, Iowa; one daughter, Mrs. Roy Broadbent of Waterloo; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one brother, Martin J. Kinneberg of Sacramento, California and two sisters, Miss Georgiana Kinneberg of Los Angeles, California, and Mrs. Olga Zinn of Joplin, Missouri.

MRS. CHELSIE C. BARTELL
Mrs. Chelsie C. Bartell, 68, of 1632 Forest avenue, for 43 years a resident of Waterloo, died of a heart ailment in her home at 6:45 p. m. Monday. She had been ill for the past several years.
Born January 10, 1877, at St. Ansgar, Iowa, daughter of P. J. and Julia Kinneberg, she was reared there and was married May 18, 1902, to Chelsie C. Bartell. They moved to Waterloo July 1, 1902, and had resided here since.
Mrs. Bartell was originally a member of the Lutheran church at St. Ansgar, and more recently had joined Westminster Presbyterian Church here.
Surviving are her husband, three sons, William, at home, C. B., Minneapolis, Minnesota, Kenneth B., Cresco, Iowa; one daughter, Mrs. Roy Broadbent, 119 Locust Street, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren; one brother, Martin J. Kinneberg, Sacramento, California, and two sisters, Mrs. Georgiana Kenneberg, Omaha, Nebraska, and Mrs. Olga Zinn, Jocelyn, Missouri.
The body is at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home and may be viewed until after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Private funeral services for Mrs. Chelsie Bartell, 68, of 1532 Forest Avenue, who died Monday of a heart ailment, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Petersen Brothers Funeral Home with Reverend Harry Moore, pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church, officiating. The body will be taken to St. Ansgar, Iowa for burial.
