OSAGE, IOWA -- A former Osage resident, Mrs. Joe (Anna Eagen) Nessler, 74, died Saturday at a San Diego, Calif., hospital. The funeral will be conducted Thursday at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Osage. The Champion Funeral Home is in charge. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Mrs. Nessler was born in Osage, the daughter of John and Delia Eagen. As a young woman she left Osage and married Joe Nessler in New York. The family left New York for San Diego.

Surviving are a daughter, Miss Joan Nessler, San Diego; five stepsons; eight brothers and sisters, Mrs. Paul Palmer, Rochester, Minn; Charles Eagen, and Miss Eleanor Eagen, Sioux Falls, S.D.; John Eagen and Lawrence Eagen, Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. Arthur Taylor, Beaver Falls, Pa.; Frank Eagen, Eau Claire, Wis.; and Miss Lelia Eagen, San Diego.
