Former St. Ansgar Man Dies at Austin, Minn.

St. Ansgar, Iowa -- Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Jordan's mortuary, Austin, Minn., for Gilbert Lauritz Gilbertson, 74, who died Tuesday following several years illness at his home in that city.

Born on a farm near St. Ansgar he spent his childhood and early youth on the farm. He was baptized and confirmed in the First Lutheran church, St. Ansgar.

Surviving is his wife, Anna Rice Gilbertson, of Austin; one brother, Oscar; three sisters: Mrs. Tillie Golberg, Enderlin, N. Dak., Mrs. P. W. Krause, Winter Park, Florida, and Miss Josephine Gilbertson, St. Ansgar.

Burial will be made in the First Lutheran cemetery north of St. Ansgar.
