Osage Woman Dies of Heart Attack at Home

OSAGE, IOWA — Mrs. Gerhard Goplerud, 47, died suddenly at 5 a.m. Tuesday, following a heart attack at her home, here. She had been ill for some time, but her condition was not believed serious.

Mrs. Goplerud attended a homecoming at St. Olaf college, Northfield, Minnesota, on Saturday, to be with her daughter Norma Jean, a student there.

She is survived by her husband, a co-partner in the Goplerud Oil company at Osage; by sons, Sterling of Iowa City, and Elling of Cedar Rapids, both students; the daughter mentioned above; her mother, Mrs. Emma Decker of Osage; and a sister, Mrs. Bradford Bisbee of Stacyville.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete.
