Rites held for former Osage Methodist Pastor

OSAGE, IOWA — Funeral rites were held at the Collegiate Methodist Church, Ames, for a former Osage pastor, the Rev. Walter B. Waltmire, 65.

Burial was in the Ames Cemetery. The Rev. Mr. Waltmire retired from the ministry last year, after serving Methodist Churches in Bettendorf, Chicago, Omaha, Madison, Wisconsin, Inkester, Michigan, and Osage. He served from 1952-1954 in Osage.

The late pastor a native of Ames, is survived by his wife, Florence, and three children.
