Osage Scarlet Fever
Victim's Funeral Held

OSAGE, IOWA -- Brief funeral services were held at the Osage cemetery here Tuesday at 2 o'clock. In charge was the Rev. John D. Kern of the Osage Baptist church for Dean Richard Torney, age 4, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Torney, who live on a farm south of here.

The boy had been sick a week with scarlet fever and double pneumonia.

Surviving are his parents and two brother and sisters.

Mr. and Mrs. Torney and two of the other children are sick with scarlet fever.
