Lawrence H. Erdmann, age 96, of Osage, Iowa, died on Saturday, October 10, 1998.

Lawrence was born March 8, 1902, and is the son of E.L. and Andrena Erdmann. He married Orphie Marie Stromley, daughter of Henry and Irene Stromley of Mona, Iowa, in March, 1937 at the Lutheran Church in Mona,Iowa; they later divorced.

He is survived by a daughter, Karen Bowser of Brighton, Colorado; and by three sons, Neil Erdmann (Carol) of Breckenridge, Colorado, Lawrence Erdmann Jr. (Hasumi) Green River, Wyoming, and Richard Erdmann (Carlene) Brighton, Colorado; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

OSAGE, IOWA — Lawrence H. Erdmann, 96, died Saturday, Oct. 10, 1998, at the Faith Lutheran Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dennis Hanson and the Rev. Roy Ott officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Champion Funeral Home, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church.

Lawrence H. Erdmann was born March 8, 1902, in Havannah, Minnesota.

Survivors include one daughter, Karen Bowser of Brighton, Colo.; three sons, Neil Erdmann of Breckenridge, Colo., Larry Erdmann of Green River, Wyo., and Rick Erdmann of Brighton, Colo.; one sister, Ruby Erdmann of Osage; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and three brothers.
