OSAGE, IOWA - Gertrude Beyer, 65, of Osage, died Monday (Oct. 23, 1995) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center East, Mason City.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Osage, with the Rev. John Moser officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m. today at Champion Funeral Home, with a 3 p.m. rosary and a 7:30 p.m. Scripture service.

Gertude was born Jan. 16, 1930, on the family farm near Osage.

Survivors include her husband, Leo Beyer of Osage; two sons, Donald Beyer of Mitchell, and Thomas Beyer of Osage; two daughters, Jane Scholl of Crystal, Minn., and Julie Johnson of Osage; four sisters, Mary Gray of Phoenix, Ariz.; Grace Ciesielski of Hales Corners, Wis.; Irene Mullenbach of Little Cedar, and Agnes Watson of Petal, Miss.; one brother, Clem (Jr.) Johanns of Osage; and 12 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.
