CHARLES CITY, IOWA -- Elmer L. Tripp, 86, a former resident of 1205 D Street, Charles City, died Friday evening (August 16, 1996) at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City. The Rev. Larry Valley, of Trinity United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Deerfield Cemetery in Chickasaw County.

Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home from noon to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.

Elmer Lee Tripp was born Jan. 26, 1910 in Osage.

Survivors include two sons, Rod of Garner and Terry of Delhi; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two sons, a grandson, three sisters and one brother.
