Leonard Charles Balsley

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA -- Leonard Charles Balsley, 82, of St. Ansgar, formerly of the Orchard, Little Cedar and Osage area, died Monday (Jan. 15, 1996) at the Good Samaritan Center, St. Ansgar.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Champion Funeral Home, Osage, with the Rev. Clark Christian officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Leonard Charles Balsley was born Dec. 11, 1913, near Orchard.

Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Shoars of Kensett and Linda Dishman of Charles City; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
