OSAGE, IOWA —Services for Mrs. Isabel Swanson, 85, who died Tuesday at the Faith Home in Osage, are pending at Champion Funeral Home in Osage.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gene Lang of Northridge, Calif.; and a son, Richard of Holmdel, New Jersey.

#3:Funeral held for Isabelle Swanson
Funeral services for Mrs. Albert Swanson, 85, of Osage, were held Saturday afternoon at the Champion Funeral Home. The Reverend Jack Speer, pastor of the United Methodist Church was in charge of the rites and burial was in the Osage Cemetery.
Isabel Sylvia Hellie was born October 28, 1894 in Trotsky, Minnesota, the daughter of O. K. and Trina Louise Hellie.
Albert M. Swanson and Isabel Hellie were married in October, 1919 and made their home in Osage.
She was a member of the Bethany Chapter of Eastern Star and of the Shakespearean club, also serving as its president. She was active in the United Methodist Church, the Organ club and was active in her circle. She also sang in the church choir for many years. She was president several times of W.S.C.S., and was made a life time member of that organization.
Surviving are her son, Richard M. Swanson of Red Blank, New Jersey; her daughter, Margaret, Mrs. Gene Lang of Northridge, California, 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Hattie Hellie of Albert Lea, Minnesota, and Mrs. Inez Hoggatt of Arcadia, California.
Her husband, parents and four brothers preceded her in death.
