Mrs. Fred (Ann Delia Monahan) Warrington 1885-1966

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning Oct. 25, 1966 for a St. Ansgar area resident, Mrs. Fred Warrington, 81, who died Saturday, Oct. 22, at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, Osage, Iowa. Mrs. Warrington had been in failing health the past year.

Rev. John Moran, pastor, was in charge of services at St. Ansgar Catholic Church. Arrangements were made by C.R. Champion and Sons, Osage. Burial was in St. Ansgar Cemetery.

Ann Delia Monahan was born on October 17, 1885, at Austin, the daughter of James and Mary Monahan. She graduated from the Austin Schools and taught rural school in this area.

Her marriage to Fred Warrington took place Dec. 18, 1920, and they established their home near St. Ansgar.

Mrs. Warrington is survived by her husband, Fred; two children, Mrs. Francis Bennerman [??] (Marcene), McIntire, Charles of St. Ansgar; 12 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mae Felding, Austin; and two brothers, James L. Monahan, St. Paul and J. E. Monahan, Austin.
