Albert Kerckhove was born about 1912, and was a farmer west of St. Ansgar. Albert, age 45, died on August 9, 1958 in an accidental dynamite explosion at his farm.

Albert had married Elsie Vervaecke on Monday, June 22, 1936 at St. Mary's church in Stacyville, Iowa. They lived at home at Meltonville*, north of Carpenter.

Funeral services** for Mr. Kerckhove were held on Monday morning, August 11, 1958 at the St. Ansgar Catholic Church. Schroeder and Houg Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Elsie and his mother, of Osage, Iowa.
