OSAGE, IOWA - Word has reached Osae of the death of a former resident, Mrs. H. G. Anderson, 77, at Quincy, Illinois, on March 21, 1955.

Born at Crawfordsville, Iowa on February 6, 1878, as Blanche Clegg, daughter of Alexander and Isabelle Clegg, she spent her girlhood in Crawfordsville.

On July 7, 1903, she was married to H. G. Anderson. In 1921 the Andersons moved to Osage, where they lived for some 14 years. Mr. Anderson was engaged in the music business here. Mrs. Anderson was a member of the PEO. About 1935 they moved to Quincy, where Mr. Anderson has been in the hardware business.

She leaves her husband, daughter, Mrs. Harris Peterson of Quincy, Illinois, and a sister, Mrs. Jean Garden, Osage.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
