FORMER ST. ANSGAR PHOTOGRAPHER DIES

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA -- Friends here have received word of the death of Miss Elizabeth Rossiter, 94, March 9, 1951, at National City, California, where she resided with her sister Matilda and brother Alfred for some years.

She was a member of the Rossiter family which had a prominent part in the founding of the Methodist church in St. Ansgar 75 years ago. The Elizabeth Rossiter Sunday School class was named in her honor.

Matilda and Elizabeth Rossiter operated a photographic studio in St. Ansgar for many years. Another brother lives at Sidney. A brother, James, of St. Ansgar, preceded her in death.

Funeral services for Miss Rossiter were held at National City.
