Mrs. Barwind, 76, Stacyville, Is Dead

STACYVILLE, IOWA — Mrs. George Barwind, 76, died Sunday from heart disease after a prolonged illness.

Left are her children, Jake Barwind of Austin, Minnesota, Fred Barwind of Ortonville, Minnesota, Mrs. Fred Gerhart, here, Mrs. John Markow of Osage, Iowa, and 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, George Decker of Osage and Albert Decker of Rudd.

Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Mr. Limkemann of the Union Presbyterian Church in Union.

PASSED AWAY SUN.

Mrs. Geroge Barwind, 75, one of the best-known residents of the Stacyville vicinity, died at her home Sunday after an illness of several years. Her husband passed away about eight years ago.

Surviving are the following children: Mrs. John Markow, Osage; Jake, Austin; Mrs. Fred Gerhart, Stacyville; and Fred, of Ortonville, Minnesota.
