Robert Tollefson, age 34, of Belle Plaine, Iowa, and formerly of St. Ansgar, Iowa, died Sunday morning, Dec. 21, 1975, in a collision on Hwy 30 near Keystone, Iowa.
Robert was born on April 30, 1941, the son of the late Clifford "Ted" and Bertha (Frank) Tollefson of St. Ansgar. He attended St. Ansgar schools and graduated from St. Ansgar High School in 1959.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Ted.
He is survived by his mother, Bertha, and by two brothers, David and Ray.
Services were held on December 23, 1975 and he was interred in First Lutheran Cemetery, St. Ansgar. The Schroeder and Dunn Funeral Home, St. Ansgar, was in charge of arrangements.

#2:2 killed, 2 injured in Keystone crash
KEYSTONE, IOWA - Two persons were killed in a car-truck crash 2½ miles south of Keystone Sunday morning.
Killed outright-were Robert Tollefson, 34, of Belle Plaine, driver of the car, and his passenger Joan Marie Weaver, 21, of Cedar Rapids.
Their westbound car collided head-on with a truck on Highway 30 south of Keystone. Driver of the truck was Cherlyn Beck, 27, of Vining. She and her passenger, her husband Le Roy, were treated at a Cedar Rapids hospital for head cuts.
The crash occurred shortly after 8 a.m., and troopers say they believe one of the vehicles crossed the center line.
