Mathilda Helene Troge was born on 12 JAN 1893 in Mitchell County, Iowa, to William Heinrich Troge and Wilhelmine Bertha F.C. Heller Troge.

She married Hermann Reinhard Wilhelm Dieterichs on 2 JUN 1915, in Cedar Township, Mitchell county, Iowa. Hermann was born on 10 MAR 1889 in Floyd County, Iowa. Her sister, Louise Caroline Troge married Alfred Henry Lesch.
