ST. ANSGAR, IOWA - Services for Arthur Tribbensee, 64, who died Wednesday, July 26, 1972 at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage, will be at 2 p.m. on Friday at First Lutheran Church here. Burial will be in the St. Ansgar City Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Ethel Lee; a daughter, Mrs. Gerald Halvorson of St. Ansgar; two grandchildren, Jeffery and Bryan Halvorson; two brothers, Rudolph of Mitchell and Edwin of Rochester, Minnesota; two halfsisters, Mrs. Alvin Kruger of Grafton and Mrs. Alma Weber of St. Ansgar.

Schroeder and Dunn Funeral Home is in charge.

Arthur A. Tribbensee Funeral
Held At First Lutheran

Funeral services for Arthur A. Tribbensee, 64, of St. Ansgar, who died July 26, 1972 at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, were held July 28 at First Lutheran Church here with the Reverend Norman E. Betke officiating.

Arthur August Albert Tribbensee, son of Theodore Tribbensee and Ann Viergutz Walk Tribbensee, was born September 25, 1907 at Grafton.

He was baptized into the Christian faith at Grafton by Pastor Landeck, He was confirmed March 25, 1923 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Ansgar, having been instructed by the Reverend Paul Brammer.

He received his education in the St. Ansgar area and was a graduate of St. Ansgar High School. He retained a life long interest in school activities, sports and young people.

He was united in marriage to Ethel Lee Nagle of Carpenter on July 23, 1927 at Austin, Minnesota. They made their home in the Grafton and St. Ansgar areas, living for a time at Nora Springs and Riceville.

They becamse member of First Lutheran Church in 1946. Mr. Tribbensee was an officer on the church council at various times over the years. He was a member of the American Lutheran Church Men (Brotherhood).

He is survived by his wife, Ethel; a daughter, Mary Ann (Mrs. Gerald Halverson) of St. Ansgar; two grandsons, Jeffrey and Bryan Halverson, St. Ansgar; two brothers, Rudolph of Mitchell and Edwin of Rochester; two half sisters, Mrs. Alma Weber of St. Ansgar and Mrs. Alvin Kruger of Grafton; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother, two half brothers, Alfred and Emil Walk, and an infant daughter, Bonnie.

Burial was in the St. Ansgar Cemetery with Reverend Betke in charge of committal services.

NOTE:
Arthur, his wife Lee, and daughter, Bonnie are all buried together in the St. Ansgar City Cemetery.
