Marian Boening was born on April 13, 1909 and died in October 1974, at the age of 65.

She was the daughter of Frederick William Trost and Agnes (Lowrie) Trost.

She married Lawrence Ferdinand Boening, the son of Robert Boening and Lydia (Mielke) Boening, [who died in April 1984, at Riverside, Calif.]

They were the parents of Bob, Caroline, John, and Laurie Boening; (and possibly another one or two children.) Caroline married William Halfwasson, and later lived in California.

She taught English at St. Ansgar public schools; and the photo below was taken from the 1963 St. Ansgar school annual.

Marian's brother, Robert Trost, died in 2006 and according to his obit he had nephews and nieces: four of which are Marians children:
nieces, Caroline Halfwassen of Benton, Ore, Laurie Kramer of Clarksville, Iowa, nephews, Robert John Boening of Florida and John Boening of Arizona; a godson, Robert John Boening II of California.

Caroline married William Halfwassen.

Laurie married Leroy John Kramer.

Robert John married Raisa Garcia; and had a son Robert John.
