Lloyd M. Loecher, 60, died Sunday at Adams Health Care Center.

He was born Dec. 20, 1939 at Osage, Iowa, the son of Ben and Rose (Mullenbach) Loecher. He graduated from the Adams High School in 1957 and served in the US Army from 1962 to 1965. He worked for Oliver Tractor and moved to Rockford, Illinois, where he was employed by the Rockford Products Tool and Die Co. from November 16, 1969 until July 31, 1991 when he returned to Adams.

He was a member of the Adams American legion Post No. 146 and Sacred heart Catholic Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by brother and sister-in-law Robert and Catherine Loecher, Adams, nephews and wives John and Tamara Loecher, Adams, James and Kathy Loecher, St. Charles, Jeffrey and Jane Loecher, Adams; nieces and husbands Lynn Marie and Dana Gorski, Waseca, Cynthia and Patrick Johnson, Adams, Beverly and James Kohner, Winona, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, twin sister Mary, nephew Joseph Loecher and great nephew Adam Gorski.

Casket bearers will be John Loecher, Jeffrey Loecher, Dana Gorski, James Loecher, Patrick Johnson, James Kohner. The organist will be Helen King.

· Service: Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Adams with Rev. Gregory Leif officiating.

· Interment: St. John's Catholic Cemetery at Johnsburg with Adams American Legion Post No. 146 in charge of military rites.

· Visitation: There will be a 4 p.m. Rosary and a 7 p.m. Prayer Service on Tuesday at the Adams Funeral Home, Adams, Minn. where friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday.

The family prefers memorials to the Diabetes Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis or Sacred Heart School.
