ST. ANSGAR, IOWA - Kermit B. Askland, 95, of St. Ansgar, died on Tuesday, March 4, 1997, at the Stacyville Nursing Home, Stacyville, Mitchell county, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Six Mile Lutheran Church, rural Lyle, Minnesota, with the Rev. Harold Luecke officiating. Burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery, Austin, Minnesota.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar.

Kermit B. Askland was born on February 20, 1902, at Huxley, Iowa.

Survivors include one daughter, Ramona Dente, Saginaw, Michigan; two sons, Keith of St. Ansgar, and K.B. of Austin, Minnesota; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother and four sisters.
