Edgar Scheer

ST ANSGAR, IOWA - Edgar Scheer, 86, of St. Ansgar, died Thursday (Feb. 20, 1997) at Good Samaritan Center.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Edward Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Monday at the church.

Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Edgar Scheer was born Feb. 22, 1910, in Colmen, South Dakota.

He is survived by three sisters, Dorothy Stuckey of Gering, Neb.; Eleanor Koenigs of Scottsbluff, Neb.; and Etta Jensen of Creighton, Neb.; three brothers, Martin of Dubois, Wyo.; Elmer of Amesworth, Neb.; and Earl of Creighton, Neb.; five grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a daughter, a brother and a sister.
