STACYVILLE, IOWA -- Pauline E. Hoffman, 80, of 101 South Water Street, died Thursday, January 2, 1997, at Stacyville Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Visitation Church, Stacyville, with the Rev. Dennis Cahill of Osage. Burial will be in the Visitation Cemetery. There will be a Rosary at 3 p.m. and a Wake Service at 8 p.m. today at the church with visitation before and after each.

Pauline was born Jan. 8, 1916 in Meyer, Mitchell county, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph Hoffman; two daughters, Charlotte Fails of North Hollywood, Calif., and Janet Chico of Glendale, Calif.; one son, Gary Hoffman of Chicago, Ill.; two grandchildren; and two sisters Jackie Smith and Agnes Corwin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Hatten Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
