OSAGE

Dale L. Thompson, 92, of Osage, died Monday (Dec. 16, 1996) at the Good Samaritan Center, St. Ansgar.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Champion Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ted Stowers officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and until time of services on Thursday.

Dale L. Thompson was born Jan. 16, 1904, in Clarion.

Survivors include two daughters, Phyllis Barker of Little Cedar, and Shirley Sletten of Osage; one stepdaughter, Esther Schafer of Muscatine; two sons, Dean Thompson of Osage, and Marvin Thompson of Mason City; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several stepgrandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, second wife, one brother, one sister and one stepdaughter.
