Mark Joseph ‘Joe' Jameson

RICEVILLE, IOWA — Mark Joseph Jameson, 62, of 201 Forest Street in Riceville, died Monday morning, (January 31, 2005) at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics following a short illness.

Memorial services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Atwood officiating. Friends may call at the church after 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. A memorial fund has been established.

Mark was born January 13, 1943, in Chester, Pa., the son of Maurice and Julia (Potter) Jones Pever. He worked as an auditor for Kinseth Corporation for many years, retiring in October of 2003. He was a big fan of boxing, wrestling and the Green Bay Packers and his sister-in-law's deviled eggs. He deeply cared for his family and loved them with all of his heart. He will be deeply missed by those who had the privlege of knowing him.

Mark is survived by his dearest partner, Sherry Krantz, of Riceville; his son, Christopher Jones (Helene); and his granddaughter, Marni Jaye Jones, of Newark, N.J.; his closest brother, Thomas Jones (Peggy) of Mason City; and two other brothers, Michael and David Jones of New Jersey.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
