OSAGE, IOWA — Marjorie Mack, 87, of Osage, died Thursday (May 8, 2003) at the Faith Lutheran Home in Osage.

Marjorie was born on August 17, 1915, in Howell, Michigan, the daughter of Glen and Alma (Birdsall) Mack. She attended country school near Deerfield, Mich., through the eighth grade and graduated from Howell High School in 1932. She attended and graduated from the University of Michigan with a teaching degree.

Marjorie taught eight years in country schools and 43 years in the Melvindale and North Allen Park School District in Michigan. She retired in 1980 and moved to Osage in 1984. She enjoyed gardening, the outdoors and spending time with her family.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage with the Rev. Karen Nichols Dungan officiating. Interment will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Lakeview Cemetery in Howell, Mich.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Monday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home.

She is survived by one nephew, Robert Mack and his wife, Carol, of Osage, and their sons, Michael, Mitchell, Matthew and Marshall.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Harry, and his wife,Madeline Mack, and a great-niece, Melissa Mack.
