Alvina M. Barlow, age 87, died peacefully on Thursday, September 19, 2002, in the Ambassador Good Samaritan Center, New Hope, Minnesota.

A graveside service was held on Friday, September 27, at the St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery, Toeterville, Iowa.

Barlow was born on December 6, 1914 in Stacyville, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Fred Buntrock Sr., Walter Kara and Byron Barlow; son, Fred Buntrock, Jr.; and grandson, Wade Buntrock.

Survivors include grandchildren, Dean (Tami) Buntrock and their children, Eric, Cory and Demi, Glen Buntrock, Karla (Jeff) Shafer and their children, Kaitlyn and Hailey; and step-children, Sarah (Roger) and Hannah, Bonnie Barlow, Deborah (Gary) Bertolin, Douglas (Barbara) Barlow and Steven Barlow.

NEW HOPE, Minn. - Alvina M. Barlow, 87, died peacefully on Sept. 19, 2002, in Ambassador Good Samaritan Center in New Hope, Minn.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Ambassador Good Samaritan Center, 8100 Medicine Lake Road, New Hope. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery in Toeterville, Iowa.

Alvina was born Dec. 6, 1914, in Stacyville.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Dean and Tami Buntrock, Eric, Cory and Demi; Glen Buntrock; Karla and her husband, Jeff Shafer, and Kaitlyn and Hailey; step-children, Sarah and her husband, Roger Kivela, and Hannah; Bonnie Barlow; Deborah and her husband, Gary Bertolin; Douglas Barlow and his wife, Barbara, and Steven Barlow.
