David Ray Smith

RICEVILLE — David Ray Smith, 59, died Monday (Jan. 12, 1998) at home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Edythe Hill officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Riceville.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Lindstrom Funeral Home.

David was born on Sept. 13, 1938, at his grandparents home, near Gilmore City.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie, of Lyle, Wash.; his children, Karl Elliott, of Carson, Wash.; Kari Huling, of Fairbanks, Alaska; Tony Smith, of Waterloo; and Carolyn Tierney, of Minneapolis, Minn.; three grandchildren; five stepchildren; and stepgrandchildren; his mother, Blanche Smith, of LeRoy, Minn.; one brother, Larry Smith; and two sisters, Leola Kock and Connie Knode, of all Riceville.

He was preceded in death by one daughter and his father.
