Dean V. Adams passed away peacefully Sunday, September 7, 2008, at age 83; beloved husband of Loella (nee Gemaehlich) for 62 years; loving dad of Dana (Sue), Roger (Cindy), Alan (Debra) Adams, Dawn (Kip) Meyer, Rebecca (Jon) Thomas, Anita Jeske and Barbara (Robert) Gibbons. Dear grandpa of Ryan (Kelly) Adams, Melanie (Jason) Tenpas, Valerie, Christopher (Jessica), Eric Adams, Korey (James) Wysocki, Kelly (Sarah) Meyer, Lisa (Joe) Basile, Andrew (Nichole) Sudhoff, Jennifer (Aron) Geurts and Katherine Jeske. Proud great-grandpa of Timothy, Jade, Jake, Alexander, Elizabeth, Micah, Emma and Moriah. Dear brother of Donald (Lillian) Adams, Juanita Arickx and Bonnie (Carl) Grimm.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Glenn, Rene, Wayland and Gene, his twin, and his sisters Virginia and Wynona. He will be further missed by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A Memorial gathering was at the Krause Funeral Home, New Berlin, Wisc. on Thursday, Sept. 11, from 10-11 a.m. with a Memorial Service held at 11 a.m. Private burial was in St. Ansgar Cemetery, St. Ansgar, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Ruth Hospice, 8300 W. Beloit Rd., West Allis, WI 53219 or to the Wisconsin Parkinson Assoc. at Sinai Samaritan Medical Center, 945 N. 12th St., Suite 4602, Milwaukee, WI 53233.

Dean will be remembered for his unique sense of humor up to the very end. Not a day went by without a joke.
