Funeral Services for Mary Helen Wolff, 74, of St. Ansgar, who died Tuesday September 10, 1991 at the St. Ansgar Good Samaritan Center here, were held Thursday September 12 at Immanuel Lutheran Church of St. Ansgar, with Rev. Norman Betke officating.
Mary Helen Hobbs Wolff, daughter of Lee Roy Hobbs and wife Agnes Seffenga Hobbs, was born June 19, 1917 at Exland, Wisconsin.
She was baptized into the Christian faith in April, 1929 at the Congregational Church at Osage by the Rev. R.L. Styles. She was married there on November 2, 1935 by Pastor Styles to Alfred Wolff.
Mary Wolff became a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of St. Ansgar February 19, 1939 having been instructed by Pastor Brammer, and she remained a faithful member throughout her lifetime.
Mary is survived by two sons, Ronald of Louisville, Kentucky; Larry of St. Ansgar; daughter, Mrs. Leslie (Linda) Bryche of Orchardl nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Wolff of St. Ansgar; one brother, Merle Hobbs of St. Ansgar; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alfred, one brother and one grandchild.
Burial was in the St. Ansgar Cemetery.
