OSAGE, IOWA -- Vera Mauser, 87, died Thursday (Dec. 28, 1995) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center East, Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Dennis Cahill officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, New Haven.

Visitation will be held from 2:30 to 9 p.m. today at the Champion Funeral Home, with a 3 p.m. rosary and a 7:30 p.m. scripture service.

Vera Mauser was born Nov. 13, 1908, in Douglas Township, Mitchell County.

Survivors include one daughter, Joan Smith of Nashua; one sister, Lucille Klemesrud of Osage; one grandson; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son, one brother and one sister.
