Diann Marie (French) Krietemeyer, age 55, of Evansville, Indiana, formerly of Osage, Iowa, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, at St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage with Rev. John Moser officiating. Inurnment will be held at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Osage.

A gathering of friends and relatives will be held from 4-7 p.m., Monday, Feb. 11, 2008 at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage, with a scripture service at 6:30 p.m.

Diann was born on February 27, 1952 in Osage, the daughter of James and Mary Helen (Gerhartz) French. She committed the longest part of her life to being a loving wife and partner to husband, David, and mother and special care-giver to her son John. Diann especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, reading, working puzzles, and traveling. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Daylight, Indiana.

Diann is survived by her husband David, Evansville Indiana; her son, John, Evansville Indiana; her mother, Mary Helen French, Osage; her sister, Cathy French, Osage; her brothers John French and Gary French, both of Charles City.

She was preceded in death by her father, James French; her brother, Bob French.
