Lena (Lampman) Ahrens, age 97, of Osage, died on Saturday, January 5, 2008, at the Faith Lutheran Home in Osage.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2008, at the Eden Presbyterian Church, 3105 Glass Ave., Rudd, with Rev. John Bates officiating. Burial was at the Eden Presbyterian Cemetery.

Lena is survived by twin sons, Donell Ahrens and wife Pat of Mason City, Berdell Ahrens and wife Wave of Rudd; two daughters, Vonda Lee Schmidt and husband Richard of Lodi, Wisconsin, Dorothy Lesch and husband James of Brentwood, Tennessee; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two brothers.
