MORGAN DAVIS.

Born March 7, 1836, at Breckenshire, South Wales. Died May 14, 1908 at his home in Osage, Iowa.

He served as a private in Co. 1. 33rd. regiment, Wisconsin volunteer Infantry.

He was in the service two years and three months, and laid in the hospital at Madison, Wisconsin, for nine months.

Morgan married Ella Hills, March 24, 1869. His home has been in Osage since 1870, except two years spent in Wyoming. He was an old and respected citizen. He has been confined to his home for six years on account of ill health but his very sudden death was a shock to his family and friends.

He leaves to mourn his loss a devoted wife and daughter, and grandchildren, also three sisters, Mrs. Pulver, and Mrs Wing of Osage, and Mrs. Pritchard of Charles City, besides a host of friends and comrades who unite in bestowing their sympathy to the bereaved family.
