Mrs. Ed Myers Dies
After Long Illness;
Buried Here Mon.

Mrs. Ed Myers died at her home here last Saturday afternoon after a long illness from cancer.

She had spent considerable time in hospitals, where every effort was made to prolong her life.
She returned home last fall from a hospital and has been failing since.

Myra Ellen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.M. Childers, was born Oct. 22, 1887, at Ashmore, Illinois.

She and her husband and their sons, Doane and William came to Osage about twenty-five years ago.

The husband and sons survive her, also a number of grandchildren.

Funeral service was held Monday afternoon at the Champion funeral home in charge of the Rev. H. M. Grant and burial was made in the Osage cemetery. The sons Doane, of Memphis, Tennessee, and William of Chicago, came for the last rites.
