Obituary

After many months of illness, Mrs.Pheobe Fordham passed peacefully away at the home of her sister, Mrs. Hutchins, on April 4.

Miss Pheobe Ann Logan was born in Pontiac, Michigan, March 21, 1853 and at the age of 4 years she moved with her parents to Bremer county, Iowa.

At the age of 24 she was married to John Fordham and resided there about 5 years where two children were born to them. Then they moved to Mitchell county, where one child was born.

Mrs. Fordham was an affectionate wife, a loving mother and a kind sister and good neighbor who always had a smile and a kind word for everybody. She leaves a husband, one daughter, five sisters, two brothers and many warm friends to mourn her loss.
