Mabel C. Kruger, 91, of Riceville, Iowa, died on Saturday August 25, 2007 at the Riceville Family Care and Therapy Center. Funeral services were held on Tuesday August 28, 2007 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Riceville, with Rev. Michael Parris officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Riceville.

Mabel Clara Frieda Ball was born May 7, 1916, daughter of William J. and Clara (Baethke) Ball, on the family farm in Elma, Iowa.

On April 24, 1935 Mabel was married to Elmer Edward Henry Kruger.

Mabel is survived by her children and their families: Anna Mae Roethler, Lois Von Esse, Dean Kruger, and Dale Kruger.
