AUSTIN, MINN. -- Marion Ileene Larson, age 90, of Lyle, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at St. Mark's Lutheran Home in Austin, Minnesota.

She was born on March 10, 1917 in West Liberty, Iowa to William and Myrtle (Holman) Marshall. On March 10, 1939 Marion married Levi B. Larson in Lyle.

Marion was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed being a homemaker, raising their children and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marion belonged to Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lyle where she was active in the Lioness Club, Rebecca Circle and the Senior Center.

Survivors include two daughters, Berneda (Keith) Hawton, of Redwood Falls, Minnesota, and Betty Gardner, of Rochester, Minnesota; one son, Bernard (Diane) Larson, of North Bend, Neb.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Salisbury, of Austin; nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Levi, in 1996; two brothers; and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lyle, with Pastor Barb Finley-Shea officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 13, 2007 from 4-7 p.m. at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin, and one hour before the service at the church. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Mona, Iowa.
