Lelia Ethely Hungerford was born in Alto, Fond du Lac county, November 3d, 1890, and died at her home in Custer, Washington, October 1, 1910, aged 19 years, 10 months and until four years ago when her par-to Mitchell county, Iowa, in 1891, where she lived in and near Osage until four years ago when her parents moved to Ward county, N.D., where January 26-1910, she was married to Percy Behme of Custer, Washington.

Little did her many friends, think that an incurable disease, diabetes, was silently wearning her young life away until it assumed an acute form when after two days she quietly fell asleep to awake no more in this life, leaving a sorrowing husband, father, mother, two brothers and a sister to mourn her early death. A bright young life has gone out when the future seemed brightest.
