Private family services for Ricky Lee Schulz, age 43, of Tarpon Springs, Fla., and formerly of Osage, Iowa, were held on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006, at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage. Rev. Robert Melhorn officiated. Interment was in the Osage Cemetery. Ricky died Tuesday, November 28, 2006, in Florida.

Ricky was born June 26, 1963, at Osage, Iowa, the son of Ronald and Marjorie (Lassahn) Schulz. Ricky moved to Florida in 1986. He was employed by MI Home Products. Ricky was a member of the First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; two nephews, Pacer and Aaron Power; a niece, Naomi Power; and a cousin, Laurie Angell.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Vickie Schulz of Tarpon Springs, Florida; a son, Dakota Kyle Schulz of Tarpon Springs, Florida; a daughter, Cassie Everett-Schulz of Tarpon Springs, Florida; his parents, Ronald and Marjorie Schulz of Osage; a brother, Kenneth Schulz of New Port Richey, Fla.; two sisters, Jean (Les) Perry of Riceville, Iowa, and MayBelle (Rick) Brockney also of Riceville.
