Funeral services for Delmer Dale Daniels, 59 of Mason City were held Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Mason City Rev. Mark E. Lavrenz officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Ackley, Iowa. Delmer passed away Oct. 9, 2006.

Delmer joined the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam with the 2 Battalion 14th Infantry Division stationed at Chu Chi and Tay Nihn. He was honored and recognized on April 20, 2006 for his sacrifice in the Republic of Vietnam with "The Order of The Silver Rose." He was wounded by exposure to Agent Orange.

Delmer is survived by his wife Marjory and his family.
